Cyber Security and Data Protection Specialist

The Financial Conduct Authority is the regulatory body for financial services firms in the UK.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

This role involves advising on cyber security and data protection matters to ensure compliance with relevant legislation such as the GDPR and DPA.

About the Role:

  • Support the organisation in implementing appropriate cyber security measures.
  • Advise on policies and standards to ensure data protection is embedded throughout the organisation.
  • Provide advice on new technology and cloud-based products to ensure they remain secure and compliant.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in cyber security and data protection.
  • Ability to interpret data protection legislation and apply it in practice.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
