Job Title: Locum Adult Psychiatry Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Adult Psychiatry Consultant to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our rehabilitation services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult psychiatry, with experience in rehabilitation services and a passion for delivering excellent care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions.

About the Role
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our rehabilitation services
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Relevant Higher Degree e.g. MD, PhD, MSc or other additional clinical qualifications
  • MRCPsych OR MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months of gaining CCT
  • Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
  • Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
  • CCT with Rehabilitation Psychiatry endorsement
  • CCT in General Adult Psychiatry
