About the Role:
This senior sales position involves promoting a high-end manufactured range of lighting products to local authorities, healthcare trusts, M&E consultants, and M&E contractors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong track record in specification sales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, while supporting the current Specification Manager in Bristol, Gloucestershire, and North Somerset.
Sector Focus:
This role focuses on commercial projects such as universities and hospitals, targeting sectors that include LED, Lighting, Induction Lighting, Electrical, Industrial, Commercial, Lighting Designers, Interior Designers, and End Users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the electrical and lighting industry
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets through proactive prospecting and conversion of leads
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends
- Collaborate with the Specification Manager to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Proven track record in specification sales, ideally within the electrical or lighting sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Vibrant and energetic personality, with a strong passion for sales and customer engagement
