CNC Turner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for operating and programming Mazak Lathes, working within a team of skilled machinists or independently when required, and following in-house and customer-based procedures and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set, operate, and program Mazak Lathes
  • Program online using Mazatrol
  • Work within a team of skilled machinists or independently when required
  • Follow in-house and customer-based procedures and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Mazatrol programming language is beneficial
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of work holding, tool selection, speed & feeds, quality awareness, and time management
  • Work to tight deadlines
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
  • Flexible approach
  • Apprentice-trained (academically) or time-served of at least 5 years
