Experienced SEN History Tutor

We are seeking an experienced SEN History Tutor to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful applicant will have a strong background in teaching history and experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN).
The role involves delivering tailored history lessons to students aged 7-18, using innovative teaching strategies that cater to different learning styles and abilities. Our client is a well-established SEN tutoring service based in Lewisham, specializing in supporting students with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other learning challenges.
A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in making a positive impact on the lives of our students.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored history lessons to students aged 7-18
- Use visual aids, storytelling, and interactive methods to engage students
- Work with students with ADHD, ASD, and other SEN needs
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Build positive relationships with students and parents
- Hold a clear DBS check and legal right to work in the UK
