Wirral Borough Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SENDSTART Caseworker to join our team. As a SENDSTART Caseworker, you will play a vital role in overseeing and actively engaging in the development of high-quality and timely Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Working closely with families, schools, and a range of service providers, including education, health, social care, and voluntary sectors, you will ensure that the parents/carers, children, or young people (CYP) are included in the assessment and annual review process and their views are accurately recorded.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children or young people with special educational needs and disabilities and experience of leading multiagency meetings. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative way are essential.
