Key Responsibilities
As an eFX Alpha Strategies Quantitative Analyst, Vice President, you will be responsible for:
1. Enhancing the eFX Alpha pod's model and strategy backtesting framework in Java, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
2. Contributing to the development and R&D of automated selection and optimization of models and strategies for eFX Alpha.
3. Researching and generating FX market signals for standalone risk holding Alpha strategies and other eFX business areas, leveraging your expertise in data analysis and modeling.
4. Meeting P&L targets for the Alpha pod and contributing to Market Making P&L targets, ensuring financial performance and growth.
5. Documenting analysis and models to ensure accessibility and transparency for eFX Quants, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will require:
1. Extensive professional Java development experience, with a proven track record in backtesting and simulation of trading strategies in production environments.
2. Experience in R&D with various automated trading strategies, showcasing your ability to drive innovation and growth.
3. Good understanding of data analysis and modeling languages, such as Python or Matlab (though not essential).
4. A degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics, with a post-graduate degree being advantageous.
