Job Description:

This full-time position involves calibrating a variety of mechanical equipment, electronic devices, and temperature control instruments. You will analyze data and interpret information to complete the calibration procedure and document results according to Essco and customer policies and procedures.

Requirements:Education and Experience:
  • A high school diploma is required; three years' experience as an on-bench technician is preferred
  • PMEL training or equivalent formal technical training is necessary
  • You must be able to apply metrology experience to a wide range of electronic instrumentation
  • Familiarity with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, and ANSI/NCSL Z-540 is essential
  • You should be computer literate and able to use lab management software
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills are required
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly walking, climbing, or balancing is necessary
  • Lifting and/or moving up to 85 pounds is frequently required
Work Environment:
  • Daily driving in your personal vehicle is expected
  • Customer sites including professional lab environments, clean rooms, or manufacturing floors may require regular visits
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, pressurized cylinders, chemicals, and high-voltage power is possible
  • Routine use of home office, customer space, or Essco space using office equipment including computers, copiers, and phones is expected
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year based on location and industry standards.
