About the Role

As a key member of our culinary team at ABode Canterbury, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, contributing to the success of our restaurant brand, Brasserie ABode.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced chef to lead our kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, working closely with our executive chef to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Ensure accurate stock management and inventory control, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to drive sales and revenue growth, through effective menu planning and pricing strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior culinary role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, with the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business.
