Role Summary

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our service users with acquired brain injuries, learning disabilities, and limited verbal communication. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality support services that promote independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Service Manager to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, using management information to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with staff to deliver person-centered support, promoting positive risk-taking and safety.
  • Support the development of a solutions-led culture, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the Service Manager in their absence, taking charge of daily operations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 diploma or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience working with people with disabilities, preferably in a supported living environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A flexible approach, willing to work across all shifts, including evenings and weekends.
