Job Title: Leisure Assistant/Personal Trainer
The Mole Resort is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Leisure Assistant/Personal Trainer.
Responsibilities:
- Host the leisure facility with colleagues and provide a professional, friendly service to guests.
- Assist visitors to the Spa with direction and understanding of the facilities.
- Keep the area clean and tidy for clients' comfort and work to achieve departmental targets.
- Perform tasks to the highest standards, including hosting leisure facilities, handling membership enquiries, payment handling and financial control, leading fitness classes, and developing customized fitness programs.
- Ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standard and report any faults or maintenance issues to the correct department.
- Follow operating procedures for opening and closing the facility and communicate with guests in a professional friendly manner.
- Comply with current health and safety legislation and liaise with other departments promoting teamwork.
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A Level 2 Certified Personal Trainer accreditation from a recognized fitness organization.
- Any additional class qualifications such as spin, aquafit, exercise to music, pilates, yoga, pool plant operator, first aid would be preferable.
- Good communication skills and a commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
- A neat and tidy appearance and adherence to uniform requirements.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations and the ability to work on your own or in a team.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or leisure environment is advantageous, although full training will be provided.
