About the Role

Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment is a vital aspect of our service at Gloucestershire House, a purpose-built building that provides care and support for 36 adults with physical disabilities. We are committed to delivering exceptional care, and we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team.

As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out general cleaning duties, using appropriate materials and equipment in accordance with COSHH guidelines. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing a safe environment for our customers, visitors, and staff will be essential in ensuring the highest level of cleanliness at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out general cleaning duties, including cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
  • Use appropriate materials and equipment in accordance with COSHH guidelines.
  • Ensure a high level of cleanliness at all times, maintaining a safe environment for our customers, visitors, and staff.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including occasional hours and weekend shifts.
Requirements
  • Experience of cleaning work in a commercial environment (desirable).
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Flexibility to work in accordance with the needs of the service.
