About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our Real Estate division, you will be responsible for working on a diverse range of commercial real estate transactions, including:

  • Landlord and Tenant Matters: Leasing and lease management, including drafting and negotiating leases, and advising on landlord and tenant disputes.
  • Investment Acquisitions and Sales: Advising on the acquisition and sale of commercial properties, including due diligence, contract negotiation, and completion.
  • Commercial Development Projects: Working on commercial development projects, including advising on planning and development issues, and drafting and negotiating development agreements.
  • Housebuilder Development Work: Advising on housebuilder development projects, including drafting and negotiating development agreements, and advising on planning and development issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior team members in managing, progressing, and completing real estate transactions for a variety of clients, including local entrepreneurs and international blue-chip investors.
  • Work on some of the largest real estate deals in the market, with high-profile clients, providing a platform to showcase legal expertise and make a significant impact in the industry.
  • Provide exceptional client service, including communicating with clients, and advising on their commercial real estate needs.
  • Work collaboratively with senior team members to deliver high-quality results, and contribute to the growth and success of the Real Estate division.

Requirements:

  • Newly Qualified to 2 years PQE
  • Strong interest in commercial real estate
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions
  • Eagerness to collaborate with senior team members and contribute to high-profile projects
