About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Reporting Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading international bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and contribute to the success of our Financial Regulatory Reporting team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Develop and implement effective reporting strategies to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information to stakeholders.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Liquidity Risk Management
    • Assess and manage liquidity risk across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Treasury, Risk, and Compliance teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and ensure that our reporting processes are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to implement controls and procedures to mitigate regulatory risk.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of financial reporting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of projects and tasks.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, liquidity risk management, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial reports and analysis.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong understanding of financial regulations, including Basel and PRA requirements.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
