About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Lead to join our Data Analytics Team at Oliver James Associates Ltd.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from optimising operational processes to developing machine learning models that drive business improvements. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various teams, including data teams, to inform pricing strategies and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data teams to ensure the accuracy of data used to inform pricing and operational decisions.
  • Transform multiple data sets into actionable insights that drive efficiency, profitability, and innovation across the business.
  • Analyse the financial impact of commercial data, particularly pricing activities and operational variances.
  • Lead the development of data capabilities and machine learning tools to unlock business opportunities and create actionable insights.
  • Supervise and manage a high-performing data analytics team, ensuring their growth and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with and analysing complex data sets, with the ability to drill down into the detail and uncover valuable insights.
  • A strong understanding of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques, with expertise in SQL.
  • Proficiency with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) for creating compelling visual narratives and presenting insights.
  • Experience in presenting to leadership up to the executive level, simplifying complex data into clear, visually appealing formats.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial datasets, as well as an understanding of contracts and service agreements.

Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum
