This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious tax expert to play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of high-net-worth private clients and driving the success of the firm's tax department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, including those with complex or contentious affairs
  • Review tax returns and other work produced by less experienced team members
  • Deliver high-quality tax advice and compliance services, ensuring each client's tax affairs are managed efficiently and in full compliance with UK tax legislation
  • Provide clients with proactive, efficient, and cost-effective taxation services that meet their needs and those of regulatory authorities
  • Day-to-day involvement in training and coaching less experienced staff members
  • Line management and mentoring of staff
  • Researching and drafting private client and employment tax advice
  • Working with and reporting to Senior Management and Partner teams to manage the team and review processes and improve efficiency and systems
