Senior Draughtsman

As a Senior Draughtsman within the Engineering Team at Trelleborg, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in 3D modelling and technical drawing to drive the development of our product range. Your creativity, capability, and enthusiasm will be essential in preparing and modifying 3D models and manufacturing drawings for our complete product portfolio. Once familiar with our current products and processes, you will contribute to the development of specifications, concepts, and engineering drawings/documentation for new products using SolidWorks Professional.

• Drawing of new and existing mechanical products.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure collaboration and support throughout the design and development process.
• Engage with external suppliers/partners to ensure standard methodology, material selection, and process development.
• Continuously improve the design office facility, including processes, procedures, documentation, standards compliance/updates, CAD system, and data storage.
• Participate in design review meetings from an engineering/design for manufacture perspective.
• Assist with other reasonable projects/tasks as requested by your line manager, including support with project processing and design office duties, with regular updates to management.
• Adhere to the Company's policy on Health, Safety, and Environment.
• Operate within company general requirements regarding Company policies, objectives, and continuous improvement.

• Education: Mechanical Designer/Draughts person qualified to HNC level as a minimum.
• Experience: proven experience in developing 3D models and technical drawings for manufacture and assembly.
• Highly motivated individual, willing to grow within an emerging market.
• Technical Data Analysis.
