Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Activity Project Lead to join our team at Hestia Housing Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a physical activity project for individuals with mental health conditions or low-level wellbeing.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering sports to a wide range of users and working with clients who have mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the monthly Good Energy Club physical activity timetable.
  • Support members and volunteers at all Good Energy Club activities.
  • Implement the organisational Volunteer Strategy locally, ensuring consistency in volunteering experiences.
  • Lead on volunteer recruitment, including identifying and recruiting volunteers, progressing reference and DBS checks.
  • Work closely with the Hestia Volunteer Coordinator and Marketing Team to develop marketing materials.
  • Ensure effective support for volunteers.
  • Develop a local volunteering database to monitor outcomes.
