Job Title: Class 2 Driver
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Class 2 Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering liquid sludge within the South West region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collection and delivery of liquid sludge using vacuum tankers.
- Planning routes on a day-to-day basis to ensure efficient delivery.
- Regular communication with the transport team to update on progress and manage customer expectations.
- Providing excellent customer service to customers face-to-face and over the phone.
- Attending regular training sessions to maintain and improve skills.
Requirements:
- Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of working with vacuum tankers and waste water is advantageous but full training will be given.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the local area.
