About the Role

Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT is seeking a highly motivated and organized Service Assistant - Clinical Therapy to join our team. As a Service Assistant - Clinical Therapy, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in our hospital, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake all appropriate cleaning duties within the hospital, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a clean and hygienic environment, including the handling and disposal of waste.
  • Work collaboratively with the cleaning team to ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean and tidy.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of cleaning schedules and protocols.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or healthcare role is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.
  • IT skills - Microsoft.
  • Experience of using software systems.
