Kara Healthcare seeks a seasoned Regional Healthcare Operations Director to oversee and manage residential healthcare operations in a designated region. As a highly skilled and experienced professional, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to facility managers and staff across multiple residential healthcare facilities within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to facility managers and staff, ensuring alignment with Kara Healthcare's overall mission and objectives.
    • Set clear performance expectations and goals for facilities, driving operational excellence and quality care delivery.
    • Mentor and coach facility managers to enhance their leadership and operational capabilities.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development initiatives for facility teams.
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations across all facilities, ensuring high-quality care and services are consistently provided to residents.
    • Monitor facility performance, including financials, operational efficiency, patient care quality, and regulatory compliance.
    • Ensure that all facilities adhere to company policies, healthcare regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Lead regional initiatives to improve operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resident satisfaction.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets for each facility within the region, ensuring financial targets are met and that facilities operate within allocated budgets.
    • Review financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions.
    • Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate billing, revenue generation, and efficient use of resources.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all facilities comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards, licensure, and accreditation requirements.
    • Lead regional audits and inspections to ensure facilities are in compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
    • Implement quality assurance processes and monitor resident satisfaction levels, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in residential healthcare.
  • Strategic Planning & Growth:
    • Contribute to the development and execution of regional strategic plans to enhance the quality of care and expand the business.
    • Identify opportunities for expansion or new facility openings within the region, working closely with senior leadership and business development teams.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote Kara Healthcare's services and expand its presence within the residential healthcare market.
  • Stakeholder & Community Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, local authorities, and community organizations.
    • Represent Kara Healthcare in regional healthcare forums, conferences, and networking events.
    • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and caregivers to ensure excellent service delivery and high satisfaction levels.
  • Health & Safety Oversight:
    • Ensure that health and safety protocols are implemented and adhered to across all facilities, protecting both residents and staff.
    • Lead initiatives to improve infection control, emergency preparedness, and general safety within the facilities.
    • Monitor staff training and compliance related to health and safety standards.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of facilities, financial outcomes, and other key metrics.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation on operational processes, regulatory compliance, staff performance, and resident care standards.
    • Develop action plans based on audit findings, performance reviews, and resident feedback.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality management systems within the residential care environment.
