Job Summary:

Talstaff Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in the logistics sector. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle, ensuring compliance with driver hours and regulations.
  • Transport goods to various destinations, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 license with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Knowledge of driver hours and regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Excellent geographical knowledge of the local area.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
