Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Addenbrookes hospital pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Support Specialist, you will be responsible for dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions, managing stock, and supporting the pharmacy team in achieving high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions
  • Managing stock, including ordering and inventory control
  • Providing excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Working collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience
  • Able to demonstrate self-motivation, good interpersonal skills, and understanding of confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Benefits

  • Competitive salary: £24,500 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Total Hours Contracted: 45 hours per week
  • Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pm
