Vehicle Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team in York.

Our client will accept applications from Level 2 qualified (up to £31.5k) right through to Master Technician (up to £48k).

Duties:
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, and brakes.
  • Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work undertaken.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for vehicle repairs.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
