Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all works strictly in line with company procedures and industry standards. This includes installing insulation, performing remedial and minor works, and delivering a high-quality service to clients and their customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain job time frames and standards by working efficiently and safely with a high-quality finish.
  • Deliver a high-quality service to clients and their customers, having respect for all individuals and meeting challenges presented.
  • Carry out all works in line with company procedures and industry standards.
  • Remedial and minor works as required before installations.
  • Installing insulation in compliance with PAS 2035 and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Conduct loft insulation, cavity wall extractions, cavity wall insulation, internal wall insulation, and basic ventilation works.
  • Stock and maintain van equipment, ensuring all materials are on hand for installations.
  • Clear jobs from handheld devices and back-office systems as they are completed.
  • Liaise with residents and clients regarding work being undertaken.
  • Ensure PPE is present and correct at all times.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Keep appointments and inform CCS tenants and clients about work being undertaken.
  • Carry out duties as required by senior managers or staff representatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with codes of practice involving your discipline.
  • Report variations to any works and update administration departments of changes to requirements on site.
  • Engage in staff briefings and company functions.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Liaise with engineers and staff to ensure targets are reached, organizing electrical and plumbing works on installations.
  • Produce certificates or job sheets for all work, reports, and records required for work.
  • Submit valid and accurate timesheets, delivery notes, expenses, and documentation weekly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • General competence in the given trade or hands-on experience.
  • NVQ Level 3 preferred.
  • Experience in building fabric.
  • Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility, and knowledge of Mobile PDA.

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
