Job Title: Heavy Machinery Technician - Nottingham

About the Role

As a Heavy Machinery Technician with Morson Talent, you will operate heavy machinery and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy machinery such as 360 excavators and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain assets by performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance to high standards.
  • Conduct tasks including meter installation, tank cleaning, pipework modification, and general site maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the scheduling team to optimize productivity and ensure task completion.
  • Maintain flexibility across a variety of tasks, including operational incidents and participation in an on-call rota.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and contractual guidelines.
Key Requirements
  • Essential: Experience with heavy machinery and dumpers.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a car.
  • Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on tasks.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and the ability to follow risk assessments.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight for training when needed.
  • Self-motivated and flexible, with problem-solving skills.
