Job Overview

CV-Library have a permanent opportunity for an HGV Technician/Mechanic to work for an established logistics provider at their site.

This is a fantastic chance to join a dynamic team and develop your skills in maintaining heavy vehicles and tankers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining HGVs and tankers while adhering to industry, company, and manufacturer guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain HGVs and tankers, ensuring they are safe and compliant with regulations.
  • Perform diagnostics work using output from diagnostic equipment and interpret results accurately.
  • Complete associated vehicle records and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements
  • Certification in a relevant field, such as City & Guilds/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent.
  • A full UK driving license and ability to drive safely and efficiently.
  • Mechanical experience within a workshop environment and ability to work independently.
Estimated Salary Range

We estimate the salary range for this position to be between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
