Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst Specialist to join our Health Analytics team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in the design and analysis of studies using real-world healthcare data, such as electronic healthcare records, registries, and claims databases.

You will work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement advanced study designs, including external comparator arms and quantitative bias analysis. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and analyzing studies using real-world healthcare data
  • Developing and implementing advanced study designs
  • Collaborating with the team to develop innovative approaches to identifying and quantifying unmet need and inequalities

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for contributing to all stages of projects, including protocol/SAP development, execution of analyses, quality control, and report writing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in epidemiology, statistics, and/or data science, with demonstrable experience in a RWE role. A 2:1 degree or better in a numerate or science subject, and a health-related Masters degree or PhD, is required. You will also need to have excellent communication and presenting skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to others.

Additionally, you will need to have excellent Microsoft Office skills, with high competence in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Programming experience in R or Python is desirable. You will also need to demonstrate initiative in every aspect of your work and be creative in developing original solutions to problems.
