Job Title: Health & Safety Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Health & Safety Business Partner to join our team at Biffa Waste Services. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with operational teams to deliver effective health and safety strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement health and safety training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate health and safety risks, and to develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
Requirements:
  • A recognized NEBOSH qualification and professional status.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
