Materials Scientist

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Materials Scientist to join our team at ACS Performance Careers. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilising their technical expertise and engineering judgment to make critical decisions on material selection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or support technical troubleshooting efforts to uncover the root causes of material failures and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate seamlessly with our R&D and design teams to ensure the smooth integration of new products into our manufacturing processes.
• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes, including impregnation, pressing, and blown film lines, to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Work with the project team to develop cost-effective manufacturing approaches and drive completion of cost reduction initiatives where required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in materials science, composites, or process optimisation.
• Strong understanding of material properties, behaviour, and application.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
