Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Manager/Social Work Leader to join our team at the Family Assessment Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement effective safeguarding practices to ensure the well-being and safety of children and families.
  • Provide team supervision and mentorship to support the development of staff skills and knowledge.
  • Empower and motivate staff to achieve best outcomes for children and families.
  • Support and promote family life by providing a caring and supportive environment.
  • Conduct parenting assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop effective support plans.

Requirements

  • A minimum of Level 4 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or a formal qualification in social work.
  • Proven experience working with children and families in residential settings.
  • Strong parenting assessment knowledge and skills.
  • Management/leadership experience or a willingness to be trained.
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
