Role Overview
NYKays Ltd is dedicated to delivering high-quality care services for children with Special Needs. We are seeking a Lead Support Worker to join our team as a Midday Meal Supervisor, responsible for overseeing lunchtime sessions and providing exceptional support to our pupils.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Well-being: Ensure the physical and emotional safety of pupils during lunchtime sessions.
- Hygiene and Personal Care: Assist pupils with their personal hygiene needs, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Dinner Queue Management: Organize the dinner queue, promoting a calm and efficient environment.
- Behaviour Intervention: Address any challenging behaviour, collaborating with colleagues to find solutions and report incidents to the Headteacher or Senior Midday Supervisor.
- Pupil Support: Provide individualized support to pupils, helping them navigate mealtime challenges and build confidence.
Requirements and Benefits
- Proven experience working with children/young people with learning difficulties, particularly autism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
