About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Lead to join our team at Roke Manor Research Limited. As a key member of our National Security team, you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Your primary focus will be on designing and building scalable data platforms, leveraging analytical techniques to extract insights from various data sources, and visualizing complex data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data platforms that meet the needs of our customers
  • Develop and maintain analytical models to extract insights from data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to visualize complex data and inform business decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and machine learning
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to ensure the success of our projects
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data science, machine learning, and data engineering
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Experience with cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Clearance Requirements

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible to achieve DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the U.K. for the last 10 years.
