Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Renewable Energy Projects

TGRC is seeking a seasoned Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead impactful renewable energy projects. This pivotal role is designed for a leader passionate about advancing sustainable engineering solutions.

Duration: 18-month fixed-term contract

Experience: 2-3 years in energy projects preferred
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 per annum

Job Description

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will head a dynamic team and contribute to a wide range of cutting-edge projects. Your expertise will be crucial in managing comprehensive site investigations, overseeing geotechnical design aspects, and coordinating project management.

  • Advanced Site Analysis: Ensure the integration of viable and sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Design Authority: Oversee geotechnical design aspects of large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.
  • Project Management: Coordinate the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main geotechnical liaison for project stakeholders, providing clear updates and strategic recommendations.
  • Innovative Solutions: Tackle complex geotechnical challenges with innovative and effective solutions to enhance project sustainability and efficacy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience, particularly in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing engineering teams.
  • Expertise in the latest geotechnical software and tools.
