Your new role at Hays Business Support will be a Purchase Ledger Assistant, working with a team of 6 and as part of a wider finance function. Your responsibilities will include matching, batching and coding of invoices, reconciliations, liaising with suppliers and internal colleagues, data entry, inbox management, handling queries, setting up new supplier accounts, and general associated finance administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Match and code invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal colleagues to resolve queries and discrepancies.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Manage inboxes and respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant who can work effectively in a team environment. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in purchase ledger and possess excellent communication skills. Training can be provided for areas where the candidate is less experienced.
