Clinical Oncology Specialist

About the Role
The Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional Clinical Oncologist to join our team at the Beacon Centre and St Margaret's Hospice. As a Consultant Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical and medical oncology services, including radiotherapy and systemic anti-cancer therapy to all common tumour sites.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will manage uro-oncology patients and one other tumour site, working closely with a multidisciplinary team. You will be part of a professional and friendly uro-oncology team, collaborating with urologists, medical oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council, with a license to practice. You will also have a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Medical Oncology or be eligible for registration within 6 months. Experience in e-prescribing, teaching, and clinical research is desirable.
