Job Title: Head of Community Properties

Charlotte Tilbury is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Community Properties to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in protecting and managing our intellectual property rights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operation and management of our trade mark and brand protection work, working closely with external counsel as required.
  • Work closely with the business to identify, clear, and manage IP-related risks in the development of advertising campaigns and products.
  • Manage all IP-related disputes and litigation, working with external counsel as required.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to IP, including co-existence agreements, settlement agreements, licensing deals, and supporting on the IP aspects of broader marketing deals.
  • Provide intellectual property guidance and training to stakeholders across the business.
Requirements:
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align legal strategies with business goals.
  • Excellent knowledge of IP law, media, and personality rights in the UK and ideally USA, China, and EMEA.
  • Experience managing complex IP litigation and disputes on a global basis.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating a range of agreements for a UK and international business.
  • Experience working for a global brand and advising on multi-jurisdictional issues.
