Registered Nurse - Southport

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St Vincent's Care Services Southport. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care and support to residents, including medication management, wound care, and mobility assistance
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans in consultation with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting resident autonomy and dignity
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practice guidelines

Requirements:

  • Nursing Registration with AHPRA is essential
  • 2+ years' nursing practice with residential aged care experience highly regarded
  • Must be available to work shifts on a flexible basis
  • Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills
  • Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records
  • Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
