Experienced HGV Technician Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our team at Auto Professionals Recruitment Services. As a well-established family-owned company, we offer a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled HGV Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles and trailers. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our mobile service and workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers
  • Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex vehicle systems
  • Work in a mobile service environment, visiting clients' sites and roadside locations
  • Prepare vehicles for MOTs and PMIs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance
  • Experience working with Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles and trailers
  • Ability to work in a mobile service environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
