Job Opportunity: Finance Lawyer for Structured and Project Finance Team

About the Role:

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a talented Finance Lawyer to join our client's market-leading Structured and Project Finance Team in London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on a wide range of project and finance work, including development and financing of new energy and infrastructure projects, refinancings, operational support, and M&A.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on project and finance transactions, including development and financing of new energy and infrastructure projects
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of project finance documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and other transactional documents
  • Work closely with the project development team to ensure that all legal aspects of project development are properly addressed
  • Collaborate with other lawyers and professionals to provide comprehensive legal advice on project and finance matters
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise the team on their implications

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in a large commercial firm with an established energy practice
  • Strong knowledge of project finance law and experience in advising on project finance transactions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the development of the team's expertise
