About the Role:
Madisons Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Arborist to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Lead Arborist, you will be responsible for leading a team of arborists in the execution of tree works, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of arborists in the execution of tree works, including pruning, removal, and planting.
- Ensure that all team members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work is being carried out in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
- Develop and implement plans for the completion of large-scale tree works projects.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and sales, to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure that all company vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and that all team members are aware of and follow company safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Lead Arborist or in a similar role.
- Proven track record of leading teams and achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of arboriculture practices, including pruning, removal, and planting techniques.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Valid full UK driving license.
