Therapist for Young People with Autism

As a Speech & Language Therapist at Aspris, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism and associated learning difficulties. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving and responding to referrals, conducting initial assessments, and leading group and individual therapy sessions. You will also manage and monitor an assigned caseload, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales.
Main duties and expectations:
- You will receive and respond promptly to referrals, undertaking initial assessments to establish the scope, level, and nature of the individual young person's therapeutic and mental health needs.
- You will lead and facilitate group and/or individual therapy sessions, short- and long-term, ensuring interventions continue to meet the needs of the YP and are consistent with the provisions detailed in their therapy plan.
- You will manage, monitor, and review an assigned caseload, ensuring delivery within the agreed timescales.
