Science Teacher Job Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our client schools in Braintree. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach across both primary and secondary key stages, creating engaging lesson plans and designing a curriculum-aligned Science syllabus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons to primary and secondary students, ensuring a deep understanding of the subject.
  • Develop a Science syllabus that fosters student curiosity and enthusiasm.
  • Prepare detailed lesson plans catering to the needs of all students, including those with SEND needs.
  • Offer one-to-one and small group academic support to enhance student performance.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Inspire students to develop a passion for Science and related fields.

Requirements:

  • QTS or PGCE, NQT, or ECT qualifications are required.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and experience teaching across multiple key stages.
  • Experience working with students with SEND needs is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and supporting students in their educational journey.
