Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our client's furniture testing team on a part-time basis. As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of furniture products by conducting physical tests and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and inspect furniture products to ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Collaborate with the Head of Furniture to plan and agree testing schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of testing results and training completed
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of laboratory areas and relocating furniture samples as needed

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also be able to demonstrate a high level of organizational skill and attention to detail.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a salary of approximately £22,880 per annum (pro rata), plus a range of benefits including 25-30 days annual leave, life assurance, a group personal pension plan, income protection, and free parking.
