Job Summary:

We are seeking a Maintenance Operations Lead to join our team at Workshop Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a team of trade operatives within a social housing setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in a trade such as carpentry, plumbing, roofing, groundworks, or decorating. You will be responsible for ensuring that repairs are undertaken safely and within specified timescales.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of trade operatives to ensure effective delivery of repairs and maintenance services
- Hold performance meetings with team members and assist with training and development
- Provide technical advice and support to operatives and follow escalation procedures
- Undertake quality assessments and provide instructions to rectify any snagging or defects

Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge with a trades background (carpentry, plumbing, roofing, groundworks, decorating etc)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to implement fully company policies and processes
- Good Excel/Outlook and General IT skills

Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per annum
