Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple joinery projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing contracts, coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of joinery projects from inception to handover.
- Contract Negotiations and Procurement: Manage all aspects of contract negotiations, procurement, and supplier relationships.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Project Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Health and Safety: Implement and maintain robust health and safety standards across all sites.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project delivery process.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role within the joinery/carpentry or fitout sectors.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
- Time Management and Organisation: Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining high standards.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: Up to £60,000 basic salary.
