About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Family Worker to join our team at With You, a leading provider of drug and alcohol services. As a Family Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality recovery care to individuals and their families affected by substance misuse.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and advice to families in relation to substance misuse and its impact on the family.
- Offer family-focused interventions to reduce the impact of substance misuse on families, particularly on children and young people.
- Work with clients and their families to develop a plan to achieve their goals and improve their well-being.
- Keep accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress.
- Collaborate with other social care providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a health and social care, substance misuse, or family setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and in different settings.
- Results-driven, highly organized, and excellent time management skills.
- Comfortable working on an outreach basis and having a driving license and access to a vehicle.
