Job Title: Supplier Management Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Management Engineer to join our team at a Luxury Automotive OEM based in the UK. As a key member of our Special Vehicle Operations team, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  2. Quality Management: Implement and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  3. Problem-Solving: Utilize problem-solving tools and techniques to resolve supplier-related issues and improve overall product quality.
  4. Communication: Effectively communicate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and other teams to ensure seamless collaboration and project delivery.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including engineering, quality, and program management teams.

Requirements:

  • APQP/PPAP/PSW Knowledge: Proven knowledge and experience of APQP/PPAP/PSW methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving Tools: Sound knowledge of problem-solving tools and techniques.
  • Vehicle Engineering/Quality Experience: Experience working within a Vehicle Engineering/Quality function and familiar with the Global Product Development System.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Personable and Effective: Personable with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
