RMS, a leading provider of resource management solutions, is seeking an experienced and competent Vehicle Logistics Coordinator to join our dedicated team.

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various inspection checks on newly manufactured vehicles, ensuring they meet company quality standards. This includes conducting pre-delivery inspections, handling vehicle movements within the compound, and completing documentation of all inspection paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To conduct safe vehicle movements in a multifaceted compound setting
  • To comply with correct parking procedures and site speed limits
  • To perform pre-delivery inspections in accordance with company quality standards
  • To carry out safety testing of vehicle settings
  • To support with vehicle fuelling and valeting tasks
  • To ensure health & safety procedures are adhered at all times

About You:

  • You must possess a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 penalty points and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes
  • You must be able to work the specified shift times, including weekends
  • You will need to pass an onsite drivers' assessment and a pre-employment drug & alcohol test prior to starting
  • The ideal candidate will be confident in their driving and have experience with automatic and manual vehicles
  • The ideal candidate will have a level-headed approach to ensure the safety of themselves and colleagues

Benefits:

You will receive a competitive salary of £11.46 per hour, based on the location in Crewe. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work for a reputable automotive client and be part of a dynamic team that values flexibility and commitment.

Working Arrangements:

Working hours will include a weekly shift rotation of 06.00am-2.00pm/ 2.00pm-10.00pm (3-5 shifts per week), with occasional weekend work required.
