About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you supervising site-based teams, developing safe and efficient activities, and advising on installation programs to enhance commercial benefits. You will work closely with the site manager to maintain standards and meet quality requirements.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a skilled team of electricians, ensuring they adhere to strict safety protocols and perform their duties efficiently.
  • Complete and issue crucial safety documents, risk assessments, and method statements to guarantee a secure working environment.
  • Performance manage the site team to achieve high standards and meet quality demands.
  • Collaborate with the site manager to devise and implement effective installation programs that maximize commercial benefits for our clients.
  • Coordinate materials in accordance with National Grid policies, ensuring seamless project delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of five years' experience in the Electricity Transmission or Distribution industries, with at least two years of supervisory experience.
  • A valid SSSTS Site Supervisor Qualification and authorization as a National Grid Competent Person.
  • A CSCS/CPCS/ECITB Supervisor Safety Passport/Card, with a City and Guilds/NVQ III qualification in Electrical Engineering being highly desirable.
  • An ability to undertake a DBS check and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the electricity transmission or distribution industries.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to read and understand drawings.
